Terms and Conditions

Welcome to FoodWalaPOS. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FoodWalaPOS mobile/desktop application and services provided by Food Wala ("we," "us," or "our").

By registering for, installing, or using the FoodWalaPOS application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.

1. Account Registration & Security

To use FoodWalaPOS, you must register by providing a valid Restaurant Name and Mobile Number. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during onboarding.
• Maintain the security of your device and local files.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized usage of your registration details.

2. License Grant & Limitations

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use FoodWalaPOS on your compatible device solely for your internal business operations.

You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application binaries.
• Bypass, modify, or disable registration enforcement screens or license verification procedures.
• Use the POS app for any unlawful or unauthorized commercial transactions.

3. Data Ownership & Security Responsibility

You own all intellectual property rights in your restaurant data, menus, order logs, and transaction history.

IMPORTANT: Because FoodWalaPOS operates locally on your hardware:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring the physical security and integrity of your devices.
• You are responsible for regularly copying or backing up your database.json and storage files. We are not liable for data loss caused by hardware failure, operating system updates, or accidental app uninstallation.

4. Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Food Wala, its developers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of profits, revenue, or business data) arising out of the use of or inability to use this POS software.

5. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When updates are published, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the application after changes constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which your business operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
